The Cancer Survivor Scholarship Winner

At Hawkins Spizman, we understand how devastating of an impact cancer has on an individual’s life as well as their loved ones. It is our hope that our Cancer Survivor Scholarship serves as a beacon of hope for those affected by cancer either directly or through a loved one, while also contributing to a student’s education.

2019 Winner: Emma Gousset

Emma Goussant

Biography: Emma is a Speech-Language Pathology major at Mississippi University for Women. She was raised in Tupelo, Mississippi and now lives in Columbus with her sweet puppy, Arthur.

Emma’s Reaction: I feel so grateful to have been awarded this scholarship! My mother is my ultimate role model, and to be able to share her story with others and remind people that there is hope after cancer has been a blessing for me and my family.
