Off-Duty Police Officer Arrested in Savannah

WARNER ROBINS – James Allen Dubry, 25, an off-duty police officer, was arrested early last week in Savannah and charged with failure to maintain his lane and driving under the influence.

Dubry, employed as an investigator with the police department, is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation. A news release issued by the department read, in part:

“The city of Warner Robins and the Warner Robins police do not condone such actions, will not tolerate such, and is not reflective of the professionals employed at the department.”

According to reports, Dubry was arrested shortly after 1:30 a.m. by officers from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department. He was released after posting a $3,500 bond. The officer will be reported to the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council as is mandated by Georgia law. Dubry is facing misdemeanor charges.
